A wicked weekend of Halloween frights

PHOTOS Sarah Rennie

A glowing full moon cast an eerie light over Herdman this past weekend, rousing the dark Mad Hatter and his wicked Halloween Wonderland of ghouls just in time to greet visitors to the Hinchinbrooke haunted house. This was the first year for the activity, which included family-friendly spooks, haunted corridors, interactive activities, multiple animatronics, a graveyard, and a play area. Multiple Halloween-related activities also took place throughout the Valley over the full-moon weekend, all culminating in a chilly but spooktastic night of trick-or-treating on Tuesday.
