Creative minds chat over coffee at MRC

The inaugural Café Réseau Créatif has been deemed a success by the MRC du Haut-Saint-Laurent, which organized the first meeting on March 18 at the Alfred Langevin Cultural Hall in Huntingdon.

Seven artists from the region took part in the first edition, which was organized and hosted by Évelyne Dubois who works with the MRC’s cultural development agent, Nancy Brunelle. The idea behind the networking activity is to cultivate ties within the local artistic community, by providing an environment that is conducive to creative exchanges, discussion, and the sharing of experience.

Following this first gathering, the MRC has decided to continue the initiative with two more meetings scheduled for April 29 and June 3, from 9 a.m. to noon, at the hall located in the Chateau building.

Local artists and members of the arts community, who are interested in participating in these meetings or who would like more information, may contact Dubois by email at or by phone at 450-264-5411 ext. 237. (SR)
