The Farm to Food podcast, which is produced in the Chateauguay Valley by members of the Gleaner team, was recognized on the national stage at the annual gala of the Canadian Farm Writers Federation. The podcast received the gold medal in the “Electronic Media – Audio” category, and was nominated as “Communicator of the Year” for its episode on cash crops from November 2025. In their comments, the judges called the show “smart, engaging, and important.” Farm to Food host Hugh Maynard accepted the awards on behalf of the podcast team in London, Ontario on September 19. Released once every two weeks, the show illuminates topics related to agriculture and agritourism, and features voices both local and far-flung (including Farmer Phil, of Quinn Farm).
