Pradeepan Periyarath was recently presented with a $2,000 McGill Dialogue Bursary by Pauline Wiedow, the executive director of the Montérégie West Community Network. Periyarath is enrolled in the Health, Assistance and Nursing program at the Chateauguay Valley Career Education Centre in Ormstown. He is currently working in the healthcare sector as a personal support worker but values the opportunity to advance his career through further training. The Dialogue McGill bursaries are presented by partner organizations, such as the MWCN, to students attending university, CEGEP, or vocational training programs in health and social services. (SR)
