It was recently announced that Howick resident Bobby (Robert) Tolhurst will be one of five contestants featured on season 11 of the hit show, L’amour est dans le pré, which is a reality dating show specifically for farmers in Quebec. Tolhurst, a 27-year-old dairy farmer, applied to the show during its recruitment period last summer. In his original profile video, he explains he always knew he wanted to be a farmer and that he likes working in agriculture because it’s manual labour as opposed to sitting behind a computer all day.
