The Union des Producteurs Agricoles (UPA) has launched a new general website following a three-year major web redesign project aimed at offering users a fluid and more personalized experience. The website incorporates that of the Fédération de l’UPA de la Montérégie as well as the 11 other regional federations.
Jérémie Letellier, president of the Montérégie federation, says the new website, which is linked to the general UPA site, “demonstrates the strength of our network and the richness of our organization, while highlighting the agricultural producers of the Montérégie.”
The site has been redesigned as an attractive and engaging resource for producers with pertinent information on all aspects of farming. More content aimed at general citizens has also been integrated, including a communications corner where news and press releases are featured, as well as information organized by theme or contemporary issue. The site now includes a youth area as well as a recipe section classified by product, and an easy one-click subscription to various newsletters produced by the UPA is also featured.
The Fédération de l’UPA de la Montérégie’s new website can be found online at monteregie.upa.qc.ca. (SR)
