IRVING, Allister James


After a short struggle with his health, Allister passed away peacefully at the Royal Victoria Hospital on November 2, 2023,  at age 63, with family members surrounding him. Allister leaves to mourn his siblings, Bruce (Victoria), Brian (Valerie), Heather (Kevin), Scott (Dian), Aaron and Connie. He also leaves behind his nieces, nephews,
great-nieces and great-nephews, many more relatives and friends. Allister was predeceased by his parents, Ross Irving and Florence Thurston. Allister will be remembered for his love of music and his drum playing. He was a special man who touched the lives of many throughout his 63 years of life. Although he was blind from a young age, he lived a full life and has accomplished many achievements. He will be sadly missed within his huge family as well as from the Huntingdon community.

The family will receive condolences at the McGerrigle Funeral Home in Ormstown, on November 25th  from 10 a.m. to noon, followed by a celebration of life at the Saint-Joseph Catholic Church, 16 York Street in Huntingdon at 2 p.m.  In Allister’s memory, donations can be made to S.A.B.E.C, online or by mail at CP 90034, 1493-2, Route 138, Godmanchester  QC J0S 1H0.
