Following a brief illness, John Leo Kosturik, 82 years old, passed away in Valleyfield on Tuesday, March 15, 2022. Just like he dealt with all experiences in life, John fought his illness with strength and fortitude. Born in Franklin, John was a proud husband, father, grandfather and veteran of the Canadian Air Force and had a passion for fishing and restoring antique cars. He was a dedicated employee for Pratt and Whitney for 42 years and throughout his life was always willing to help when needed. He leaves behind his wife, Patricia McMillan, as well as his children Suzanne (John), Sharon (Richard) and Lisa (Tim) and his beloved grandchildren who he cherished: Kieffer, Erika, Jordanna, Nikolaus & Madison. He is survived by his sister Mary (Harold), sisters-in-law, Heather and Diane and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Michael and mother, Maria, brothers Vlady, Mike and Andy, and sister Irene.

A memorial service will be held on July 15, 2022 at Rodrigue Montpetit et Fils, Inc. (170 Chateauguay Street, Huntingdon, Quebec, J0S 1H0, 450-264-5331).
