Six teams took to the sand under a blazing sun during a beach volleyball tournament organized by the Hemmingford Sports Committee on July 15. The Black Squad team went undefeated during the round robin tournament before bringing home the championship in the elimination round. Just under $420 was raised during the day to support the youth sports program in Hemmingford. (SR)
