Travelling to Vaudreuil via the A30 Express toll booth on Autoroute 30 will cost drivers of category 1 or passenger vehicles a minimum of $3.50 as of February 1. The fee for category 2 vehicles, or those over 230 centimetres, will be $2.60 per axle.
The formula used to set toll rates is established according to an agreement between the A30 Express and the Ministère des Transports du Québec and is directly linked to the number of vehicles passing through the toll plaza. Traffic in 2022 surpassed the 24,000-vehicle mark, which led to the increase.
Electric vehicles with a green licence plate and valid transponder may continue to cross the toll plaza free of charge as part of the government’s Action Plan for Electrification in Transport.
