An article by Gleaner reporter and freelancer Yvonne Lewis Langlois (shown at left) on the return of a much-loved organ to the Rockburn church took third place in the Best Arts and Entertainment Story category in the Quebec Community Newspaper Asociation’s Better Newspapers Competition. The awards were presented during the QCNA’s annual awards gala on June 28 in Montreal. Journalist Sarah Rennie was awarded first place in the Best Nature/Environment photo category for a photograph taken last July of damage following a destructive storm system that descended on the municipality of Saint-Anicet.
