Lions Club brunch
Join the Ormstown Lions Club on Sunday, April 21, at the Ormstown rec centre (87 Roy Street) for a very well-furnished brunch plate. Chow down between 10:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m. for $20, (adults) and $8 (kids eight and under).
Pulled-pork sandwich supper
The Guides are holding this tasty fundraiser on April 20 at MacDougall Hall in Ormstown (19 Lambton), from 4:30 to 8 p.m. Cost is $20 per adult, $10 for kids aged 5-11, and the under-fives eat for free.
Barrie Aux AGM
The Women’s Auxiliary of the Barrie Memorial Hospital will hold its AGM on Wednesday, April 24, at 8 p.m. at the Ormstown Curling Club (7 Chateauguay Street).
Collection for La Bouffe
On April 27 from 10 a.m. until noon, the Scouts and Guides will be around Huntingdon collecting food for La Bouffe Additionelle.
Square dancing competition
This popular event is being held on Saturday April 27 at 1 p.m. in the Industrial Building at the Ormstown fairgrounds. All are welcome to spectate, cheer, and have a whirl afterwards. $10 for adults, $5 for children (aged three to 12 years).
Hemmingford Legion chicken BBQ dinner
Enjoy another delicious chicken dinner at the Hemmingford Legion on Saturday, April 27.
