Quebec Liberal Party leader Charles Milliard’s campaign bus pulled up to the Taverne de la Ferme in Ormstown on September 11 as part of a day-long visit to the Valley. Connor Stacey, the Liberal candidate in Huntingdon, introduced Milliard to locals over lunch at the popular restaurant before both went to pick some apples at Vergers Petch Orchards in Hemmingford. The tour ended later in the day at Delfland Inc, a family-owned vegetable farm in Saint-Cyprien-de-Napierville. (SR)
